The crisp white page of a new diary is
an invitation,
For us to pen down our resolve to surmount
the many challenges in the year ahead, guided
by lessons of the past,
To bring true meaning to our lives, and the
lives of others, as One People and One Nation,
So that we may emerge wiser, stronger
and more united,
With singular determination, we can truly
make 2009 and the years ahead great for our
beloved nation.
